Insulation Vac Bag FAQ

Whether you call it an insulation removal bag, vacuum bag, or vacbag, contractors and DIYers ask the same questions before starting a job. Below we cover sizing, capacity, machine compatibility, shipping, and what sets Tough Bags apart from other insulation vac bags on the market.

What Makes Tough Bags Different?

Tough Bags is a family-owned business with three decades of hands-on experience in the insulation removal industry. We originally created these bags for our own removal crews. We were tired of overpriced bags that ripped, were too bulky to stack, and slowed us down on the job. In 2014, we started selling Tough Bags to other contractors, and we've been focused ever since on delivering the highest-quality insulation vacuum bags at the best possible price.

Before any new product goes to market, it's field-tested by our own crew and four partner insulation removal companies across the Dallas area: real jobs, real conditions, no shortcuts.

  • U.S. Patent: Tough Bags Collar is protected by a U.S. patent, distinct from standard 6x4 bags.
  • Same-day shipping: Orders placed before 3pm CST ship the same day, nationwide including Canada.
  • No-rip guarantee: Every woven Tough Bags product is backed by a real warranty.
  • Contractor-tested: Used daily on our own removal jobs and by partner crews before release.
